Counting? how many days more to go before August 15? do you still remember how special is this day to us, Marists? It is the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary… do you think we could do something special at a particular time of the day to celebrate the feast together as Marists, wherever we may be? Comments please…. and suggestions if you have any…

Hi anonymous,
that day is indeed special to us all marists. so what do you think would be the best thing to do that day? here in our community we have prayer celebration during that day as one with all the marists in the whole institute; remembering marcellin’s teaching to us as his brothers.

Bro Vince/Bro Pepito…. can we dedicate 1 thread on this occasion (August
to blog our special activities, reflections, testimonials, etc…highlighting the impact of Mama Mary/Marist Brothers in our lives. I invited our BMCians/SMCians Alumni and friend at NDMU & NDDC… suggestion lng :)… wanted to rekindle “Marial Sprituality” after we departed from the portals of the Marist Community to the busy workplace.

That’s a good idea!
I think, you can start another thread for that specific topic.

Thanks to Dasoy for sending in the information on NDMU_WS_Alumni grooup where I found this link. I am BMCian member since 1995 until I graduated in 1998 at NDMU as BSCS. Our moderator during that time is Bro. Roy Dieta. I miss my co-bmcian, elmer, arlene, harlington, and shiela. I can’t remember the names of my other batch. Hope I could in-touch with them through this link.
Good luck to the moderator of this site. More power, may the spirit of humility, simplicity will be upon us all!
Regards!

Hi Bro. Peps, Bro. Roy and Bro. Vince! This is a very good start. Congratulations! Keep up! I’m sure we can constantly keep in touch with our alumni.
Belated Happy Feast Day for yesterday. We treated this day as “Holy Day” here at ND Cotabato. We will continue to keep praying for one another.
